FABULOUS FOURTH DAY!!! lol

Well,
Today was nothing short of AMAZING!!! It was our fourth day of school today, and all day before today have not gone as planned, to say the least! (I am in love with  "!" don't judge me, just love me more all the excitement!) My class, while sweet, has a lot to get accomplished this year. Second grade is so much more thorough and detailed than first grade (strictly my opinion-curriculum wise and responsibility wise). So I have to really reinforce everything I expect. I set the bar high, but I have yet to have a class who hasn't met it. These kiddos are my third group. But they leave me speechless everyday. :)

We got sooooooooooooooooooo much done today! When I came back to my room from the Parent Pick-up area, I just sat there...in amazement. We finally had a day where I felt like everything went well! I wasn't stressed or exhausted after school...other than the norms. My kids worked hard. My tactics work. My literacy lesson (while a little informal, and OBSERVED without prior notice!) went soooo well. My kids really showed me their best today and I appreciate it. We will definitely be one of the classes to watch out for this year ;) I try to instill morals in my babies. I don't just teach and have fun and say, "Boy, I hope this world is good to them." I try to make sure that they all leave my room after 180 days of hard work, a little richer for the experience; and I mean as a complete person. I love my kids because I know that it only takes a little hard work and a lot of love on my part to get the same out of them. I love coming to and leaving work happy. THAT is my motivation to make sure that my kids come in and leave that way.

Whoop Whoop!

Ok! Now I'm excited! I was so distraught over not really knowing my way around this blogspot.com thing. I was green with envy as I looked for neat ideas, and while I have found TONS, I was sad that I couldn't get my blog as cutesy as everyone else's. But with a little searching I finally came across a blog with a link to their "template distributor" (for lack of a better word). But now all is well in my little world!! So, while I don't have any regular occurring views, WATCH OUT!! I'll be posting more and more as I continue to learn. Any tips on how to make my blog more fun for myself and passersby, please let me know!!

My First Post

Hello fellow bloggers!


My name, for blogging sake, is Mrs. P. I'm a fun loving, mother, wife and teacher. I have found soooo many cutesie ideas on the teacher blogs on here it is bananas! I'm anticipating a few things next week and figured today is as good a day as any to start a blog. With my schedule I don't always get to talk about all the things on my mind, sooooo- I'll use my blog as an alternative outlet. I had a blog prior to this, but that was more of a college journal. Lots of good stuff on there...hahaha! Well, feel free to stick around if you want to see what craziness goes on in the life of this full time teacher and mother. :)
